I used Comic Strip Generator given in the Discovery Resources to create these comics.I made a fake magazine cover with a cartoon panda. The other one is from a famous Japanese cartoon Machine Cat.
I think comics may enhance the student's interest on some topics, good for elementary school or any level of education is used properly.
